MRG KICK/a
The MRG KICK/a is a clone of the TR-606 Bass Drum.
The MRG KICK/a, like its 808 counterpart MRG KICK , has two trigger inputs (TRIG1 and TRIG2). Each of them has a different accent level, and can be used independently to generate kicks at different accents that can be changed dynamically. This trigger works eiter with gate signals (e.g. square LFOs) ortrigger (impulses) signals.
The MRG KICK/a offers two extra controls:
- TONE: a low pass filter (similar to the TONE control of KICK) that reducees high frequency contents of the kick.
- DISTORTION: A soft-clipping distortion, dependent on the accent.
